Participants will be asked to test different scan settings, learn the impact of changes in e.g. voltage, filter, rotation, and reconstruct projection images and deal with artefacts such as beam hardening and ring artefacts. Using a variety of datasets, coming from both biological as well as material science, numerous parameters such as analyzing density, measuring porosity and calculating morphometric parameters will be discussed and practiced. A dedicated session will deal on how to automate these analyses and applying them to your specific sample.
This course is ideal for people who want to get the most out of their system and software! In depth hands-on training in small groups ensures a high level of interaction between the trainers and the participants, maximizing your learning curve!
